KEITH’S PICKS · PRACTICAL NUTRITION RESOURCES

USE WHAT HELPS.
SKIP THE BULLSHIT.

These are the foods, flavor tools, and prep basics I actually use or recommend to make the Shred Kitchen system easier to follow.

THE RESOURCE SHELF

QUALITY, CLARITY, AND REPEATABILITY.

This page holds the extra guidance that helps you execute without clogging up the meal-builder flow. Start with the plan, then use these notes when you need them.

PROTEIN POWDER

THE PROTEIN POWDER I USE.

I use and recommend Prestige Labs because product quality matters to me. My link gives you access to wholesale pricing. Use the serving generated in your meal plan rather than assuming every scoop is identical.

I may earn a commission when you purchase through this link, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I personally use or genuinely believe fit this system.

VEGETABLES

USE WHAT WORKS FOR YOU.

The vegetable shown in a meal is an example. Spinach, zucchini, squash, asparagus, and kale are the ones I use most often. Choose one or combine several, aim for 1–2 cups total, and pay attention to what digests well for you.

Corn, peas, potatoes, and other starchier vegetables contribute more carbohydrates. When precision matters, treat them as part of the carbohydrate serving instead of a direct vegetable swap.

RICE

KEEP THE PREPARATION PLAIN.

Jasmine rice is the option I use most often, but another plain rice can work. Buy plain dry rice and steam or cook it in water. Do not use oil, butter, packaged flavoring, or prepackaged rice when following generated portions, because those additions change the calories.

SAUCES

FLAVOR COUNTS. SO DOES THE AMOUNT.

My usual options are G Hughes sugar-free barbecue sauces and dressings, sriracha or another hot sauce, and sugar-free ketchup. Sugar-free and low-calorie do not mean unlimited. Measure approximately 1–2 tablespoons instead of pouring blindly.

SEASONINGS

MAKE SIMPLE FOOD TASTE GOOD.

Garlic, black pepper, lemon pepper, cinnamon, and a controlled amount of salt cover a lot of ground. I also recommend Healthy Devil seasonings for more variety.

PREP EQUIPMENT

THE BASICS THAT REMOVE EXCUSES.

  • A reliable digital food scale
  • Leak-resistant meal-prep containers
  • A soft cooler and reusable ice packs
  • A travel utensil set

Specific purchase links will be added only after the actual products are reviewed and approved. The goal is useful equipment—not links for the sake of commissions.
